Don’t get me wrong: I know there are changes to be made in both my lifestyle and diet, but the insomnia predates my chronic caffeine consumption by years. Most distressing is just how long it takes to get back to sleep if I’ve gotten up to use the facilities. Yes, I’ve had sleep studies, and yes, I use a CPAP to treat my apnea (which sucks), but I’d just like some relief. Can any of you relate? How tired are you? How does you caffeine consumption compare to mine (32 oz most moorings, 5 days/week–followed by soda and usually chocolate)?
