> Today, Jon Acuff of Stuff Christians Like, blogged about Skechers Bobs being a knockoff of Toms shoes. They may be, they may be. But all this got me to thinking about Vibram, and their much-vaunted Five Fingers running shoes. Michael Hyatt has blogged about how much he loves his Vibrams. Everybody who has them seem to love them; those that haven’t heard of them think they’re weird looking when they see them. Personally, I think they’re discriminatory. I mean, come on, they’re called “Five Fingers,” for goodness sakes! What about people with less than 10 toes, or folks with polydactyly? What are they supposed to do? It’s not like one can stitch some extra toes onto their $100 running shoes! I think Vibram should announce a “Polydactyly Edition”–for when five fingers just isn’t enough. Let me know what you think in the comments.
