Who’s Your #TwitterTwin?

Just as cognates are words which appear similar, but have different meanings, so, too, there are Twitter cognates.

Twitter Twins.

Your Twitter Twin is another person bearing your name, but with (obvioisly) a different face. Like cognates, you sound the same, but look different.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to search Twitter for your name, find an account with photos, and RT one with the following:

“I found my #TwitterTwin. Who’s yours?”

Let’s make this fun, people. 🙂

  • Seems a little strange. Do you think the other person(s) would mind? I know there’s another Jon Stolpe who lives up in North Jersey. He’s young and in a band. I think his twitter name is @TheJonStolpe.

    • I suppose it is. Couldn’t speak to that.

I think the genesis of it was that story about the French photographer who find all those people around the world who were unrelated, and yet looked so very much alike. It’s uncanny. Just felt like maybe something similar could happen on Twitter (what with all the memes, bacon, hashtags, etc).
Was really just intended for fun.
