Welcome to the cubicle farm! Where we believe in choice, individuality, and freedom of expression!

Ok, so not so much. We actually only have one crop here, and that’s homogenity. We hold–mold–ourselves to a higher standard–an exacting, humorless, standard. We will not tolerate any expressions of levity, lightness, any hints of personality that may so much as creep into even our email signatures.

Perish the thought!

The cubicle farm wants you!

Do you want to be a drone?

  • Looks like my office!

    • Mine, too (even though it’s not)!

  • My office space is much more homey and less institutional than yours 🙂 Neener, Neener!!

    • Well, that’s not my office space.

  • We have constant rows of the same cubicles that are exactly like each other and are even less homey that this.

This reminds me of Steven Taylor’s song “I Want To Be A Cone”. Sing I Want To Be A Drone to that tuen.

    • Good catch, Larry. Steve Taylor is what I had in mind. 🙂

    • Chelle White

“I want to be a clone” came to mind too!

  • Ricky Anderson

If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t even have a cubicle at my last job. Just a desk three feet from the front door.

Of course, now I have TWO offices, so…

    • Not my cube--just a pic I found on Wylio (but is like unto my cube). I call it my “command center”--got a Dell with two monitors, and a Mac Mini with one (with 4 virtual desktops). They share a single keyboard and mouse via Synergy. Most of my admin stuff is done with RDC on a terminal server. We just migrated off of Novell onto all AD within the last year; however, we’re perpetually stuck on Notes 6.5.4. 🙁

A desk 3 feet from the door? You should’ve donned a parka and setup shop in the computer room. 😉

Two offices? Wow! Now you can’t be just “Ricky” anymore, can you? Richard Anderson, Director of Operations, MCSE, MCAT, CNNA, Etc, owner of 2 sheds! 😉
