[Upon discussion with those closest to me, I’ve decided that this post represents a huge satire fail. As such, I’ve removed it.]

  • I hope you don’t know these from experience

    • No, actually my wife and I were talking last night about theoretical insults, and #1 is what I came up with. Otherwise, no, I don’t know them from experience. 🙂

I am so hurt and offended by this post. I can’t believe that you would even think about writing something like this especially while I was in surgery. You have truly broken my heart. I am so sorry that’s how you feel.

        • You see, that’s just it--it’s not how I feel. Not at all. It was my feeble attempt to highlight egregiously insensitive behavior by means of satire. But I can see that I took it too far. Which is why I took it down. Even though it wasn’t written about you, against you, or about us, I hope you can forgive me.

    Why would you post that?

    • Well, I failed, ok? It was intended to be one thing, and came across as another--so I deleted it. You win some, you lose some.

  • Hmmm…I look forward to the follow-up post…I think. I hope things work out in the aftermath.

    • If there is a follow-up, I think I’ll have my wife write it.

  • Oh wow -- Chad -- what DID I MISS?

    • Cindy, you don’t wanna know. An ill-advised attempt at satire is all that seemed to have crossed the line into mockery. It was one of those “well, it seemed like a good idea at the time” moments.

      • I totally get it -- not everyone always understands my snarky sense of humor -- and to be fair -- I have not always understood the snarky people in my life that love to “bring me down a peg”. So -- I get it.
