>I Welcome Your Comments

>Hi! Thanks for coming by today! I’d like to welcome you to my blog! Glad you dropped by.

Today, I’m gonna take an opportunity to go over some “housekeeping” items.

First, I’d like to invite you to comment. Please do–I welcome your comments. I use IntenseDebate for the commenting system here, and aside from a couple of hiccups, it’s worked pretty well.

Second, please keep your comments civil. This doesn’t mean you have to agree with me–far from it! Feel free to disagree. Just keep it civil.

Third, personal attacks in the comments won’t be tolerated. Insults have no place in civil discourse (don’t worry–I’m not sarcasm-averse). What I mean primarily is that attacks against ideas are kosher, but attacks against people are not. Be nice to each other.

(Here’s the deal: I respect my readers, and take it as my duty to protect them here on my little corner of the Internet).

Fourth, the definition of terms is solely up to me. If I decide someone is trolling, the comment gets deleted. Repeated trolling earns a banhammer.

Fifth, is there anything I’ve missed? Please add it to the comments.

As always, thanks for reading! Go make a beautiful day!

Glad to be here. I may not always comment, but I do enjoy reading your words. Have a great day.

    • Thank-you very much, Michelle! It means a lot.

  • Be kind, rewind. Wait a minute--that's something else.

    • Heh-heh. Isn't that a movie, or something? 😉
