>Merry Christmas Eve eve, or happy day before the day before! Anyway, as with many folks, December has been the season for sneezin’ here at casa de random. The interesting thing is that, during the three weeks my family was sick, I coasted along just fine. The kids got croup, which they passed onto to mama–which then promptly became bronchitis in her. But in all that it didn’t come nigh me (“a thousand shall fall… but it shall not come nigh thee”). Nope–at least not until this week. They’re all feeling so fly, and I’m sportin’ the Christmas cold. It makes using my CPAP (for sleep apnea) at night… interesting. But I digress. I’m writing today because I need your help. Because of these illnesses, the shopping ain’t done. I need your gift recommendations for: a wife who’s sometimes hard to shop for (according to her, the best gift I ever got her was a Macy’s gift card), a 12 year-old boy (who loves music, video games, and toys that he has to put together), and for a 4 year-old girl (who loves clothes, shoes, dolls, and frilly lacy things). With time running out as it is, what would your go-to gifts be? Thanks for your help! Merry Christmas and God bless you!
